Cub Scout Pack 47 is for all boys in grades 1 through 5, as Tiger Cubs (Grade 1), Cub Scouts (Grades 2 & 3), or Webelos Scouts (Grades 4 & 5).
Each boy who joins is assigned to a den, usually consisting of 5 to 8 boys who are in the same grade he is, so often he will meet friends he already knows from school or sports.
Some of our activities throughout the year include:
• Annual Pinewood Derby
• Blue & Gold Banquet,
• Halloween party
• Fishing derby, Hikes
• Holiday theme pack meetings
• Sleepovers at various museums
• Participate in Celebrate Holliston parade
• Community service activities.
In addition of camping activities organized by individual dens, the Pack participates in an overnight Family Camping Weekend at the Knoxville Trail Council's Camp Resolute in Bolton. In the summer, Cub Scouts may attend weekly sessions of Day Camp that are created around various themes. A special 3-night overnight camp is available for Webelos at Camp Resolute.
