The ReStore is a retail store that stocks new and gently used home decorating and home improvement products at a deep discount. ReStore volunteers work alongside staff to create a friendly environment for our customers. We have four ReStores that are open seven days a week, giving the most flexible options for volunteers to donate their time.

The Garland ReStore, located at 451 W. Interstate 30, Garland, TX 75043, is in high need of Core Volunteers!

Volunteers in the ReStore assist with the following:

• Merchandising
• Display maintenance
• Customer service
• Customer assistance
• Inventory management
• Product sales
• Product pricing
• Organizing stockroom
• Stocking shelves

A Dallas Habitat Core Volunteer is literally just that, the "core" that keeps everything intact. ReStore Core Volunteers are involved in all aspects of retail operations and work with the Habitat ReStore staff in guiding volunteers who are out for the day to assist in the stores. You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge in retail operations, learn new skills, meet new people, and develop leadership skills. To be a ReStore Core Volunteer, you must be able to commit to at least one day a month.
