Dalton Holiday Festival

Dalton Holiday Festival
Downtown Dalton

Started in 1976 by the Eash Family, the festival began with just a few events, and at one time encompassed over 5 school buildings all over town. Although the events have changed, and the venue has changed over the  years we still promote a great 3 days of magical fun for the entire family.

Our events include an annual parade featuring pageant royalty from all over Ohio. A spectacular craft show with over 90 exhibitors, and growing every year, our renowed "Mrs. Claus' Pantry featuring this area's best amish baked candies, desserts, and baked goods. Live entertainment including local high school bands, and choirs, also a variety of local singing groups which fill the halls with the music of the season.

Talk about food, we feature a country style breakfast sponsored by local organizations at the Dalton Presbyterian Church, then the festival provides full food service at the Local High. All this culminating with an all you can eat home style ham dinner by the local boy scouts.

We feature a children's room sponsored by local churches  to watch your kids while you peruse our craft show. Who could forget Santa Claus, and have your child's photo taken with him, and Mrs. Claus.

Two new events which were very popular in 2012 included "Turkey Bowling", and "Santa's Treasure Hunt". All this combined with contests, with prizes, and the sights & sounds of the holidays make the Dalton Holidays Festival a must see family tradition for the kid in all of us.
