Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.

Join us at these events to bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.

The City of Dickinson with the help of the American Cancer Society host a Relay for Life Event.

This year the event is scheduled for May 4th starting at 6pm and ends May 5th at 6am ~ at the Sam Vitanza Stadium.

There is a Survivor lap and celebration for anyone who has or is battling cancer of any kind at 6:30pm

Also a BEAUTIFUL Luminaira Ceremony at 9:30pm where pre-purchased luminarias light up the entire football stadium as each name is called out to honor the survivors or in memory of those who have sadly lost their battle.

Everyone welcome to come out!!!!! Walk the survivor lap, purchase a luminaria or just come enjoy the FUN!!!!
