Down East Partnership for Children is charged with implementing Noth Carolina's Smart Start initiative in Nash & Edgecombe counties. For more than 22 years, DEPC has worked to improve the quality of child care, offer families support and training, and establish a base of community leadership so that all children enter school ready to learn and experience long-term success.
