Since 1991, Down to Earth Markets has created and managed farmers’ markets in New York City and its suburbs. Our mission is to bring cooks and eaters together with regional farmers and local food makers to create food communities, improving access to fresh, local foods, strengthening the local food system and supporting small businesses in the New York area. In 2014 we signed on to the B Corp Declaration of Interdependence and became a Certified “best for the world” B Corp, joining the ranks of mission-driven companies dedicated to doing business with a focus on our social and environmental impact.
