Duchesne County School District

90 South 100 East
435-738-1240

Duchesne County School District is a small, rural school district located in scenic Eastern Utah. Duchesne County, gateway to the Uintah basin, is home to about 4400 students in thirteen schools located in six rural communities. We have six elementary schools, three high schools, one junior high school, one k-12 school, and two special schools. We are able to provide quality educational programs and enjoy a good relationship with Utah State University Branch Campus, as well as Uintah Basin Applied Technology College. We also utilize a distance learning network to provide curriculum to our more isolated schools. An ongoing project of the district is to provide modern, safe, and efficient facilities in a pleasant and positive learning environment.

Within a unique and beautiful rural setting, our educational mission is to provide each student the opportunity to become a successful and responsible member of society through the acquisition of knowledge, values and skills. We do this through an active and cooperative partnership of the home, school, and community.
