For over 50 years, the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce has been helping businesses in the East Meadow Community. We provide scholarships to our future business leaders, we have revitalized our downtown area along East Meadow Ave., and we distribute a business directory to all of the homes and businesses in East Meadow every year. Also, we recently created Town Square on the corner of East Meadow Ave. and Prospect Ave. in the Veterans Memorial Park. These are just some of our accomplishments.

The first Wednesday of the month is when we usually hold our general membership meetings. They are held at one of our local food establishments that are a member of the Chamber of Commerce. We hold various other meetings throughout the year, such as a Networking Meeting, where our local merchants get a chance to mingle with other businesses in the community.
