EF Homestay is looking for volunteer Host Families in the Rancho Cucamonga area. By hosting an EF student, you will introduce your family to an exciting new global experience. As a host family with EF, you will get to share in your student's daily discovery of the U.S Hear the excitement in their voice when they tell you about their activities see their eyes light up when they taste their first grilled American hot dog or play their first game of baseball. During these adventures together, you will break down barriers of language, culture, and geography and develop friendships that will last a lifetime! We know our volunteer families' lives are busy. So, hosting with EF is the perfect balance. By hosting for only 2 weeks (July 16-28, 2013) you will be able to get an introduction to another culture, without having to make a long-term commitment.

Host Family Requirements

If you are able to provide a bed, three meals a day, transportation to and from the local course center, and a stable, caring environment, you have what it takes to share your life with an eager student from abroad! You will cultivate long-lasting friendships and promote cross-cultural connections in your community with this experience.

Your local EF team will also conduct a Host Family Orientation before the students arrive that we require you attend. At this meeting, you will learn important details about the program and meet the EF staff that will be working with your students throughout their stay in the U.S.
