El Dorado Hills Soccer Club

About Us

The El Dorado Hills Soccer Club (EDHSC) is a not-for-profit corporation affiliated with the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) and is a member of the El Dorado Youth Soccer League which is part of District VI of CYSA. The Club is one of seven soccer Clubs within the El Dorado Youth Soccer League and started play in 1984 with 236 players. At that time, EDHSC was the smallest Club in the El Dorado County Soccer League with the whole league comprising of 1,817 players. By 1999, the El Dorado Hills Soccer Club had grown to be not only the largest soccer club in El Dorado County, but also the largest youth sports organization in the county.

The Club fields two levels of Soccer; at the Class III and Class IV levels with player ages ranging from 4 to 18. Over 85 percent of our players participate at the Class IV level, which is referred to as Rec soccer. The Class III level teams are referred to as our Select soccer teams. They are the "tryout" teams of our Club who represent us in the Metro League of the Sacramento area. The Select teams are chosen by the Select coaches on a competitive basis in the spring of each year. These teams provide our youth from the U10 to U19 age groups with more advanced soccer skills and competition against other select teams in the metropolitan area. Our Rec teams are comprised of players with all levels of soccer skills, including advanced players who don't wish to play on a select team. These teams are created by the Club in the spring and early summer.
