The Elk Grove Historical Society was formed on July 10, 1975 and has been an important factor in the preservation of our local history ever since. The Elk Grove Historical Society brings together for mutual enrichment people who are interested in discovering the heritage of Elk Grove Village, township, and vicinity. The Society also advises and assists in the collection and preservation of items of historical relevance and strives to provide ongoing opportunities for guests of all ages to immerse themselves in the rich and diverse history of the region.

Elk Grove Village, IL has this wonderful Historical museum and gallery exhibits. Currently the exhibit is about the history of Mc Donalds university. they also have a historic house from the area. Visit their website for hours of operations.
