In order to accomplish our vision, it is the mission of the Ephrata Area School District to provide all students a secure learning environment and exemplary academic programs that inspire all students to reach their full potential.

- Encourage academic excellence at Ephrata Area School District public schools by supporting valuable programs that enhance the learning process and have a positive impact on student achievement.
- Support successful teaching methods and technologies that are supported by academic research or proven in the field.
- Provide opportunities for teachers to develop innovative classroom projects or expand existing coursework through teacher grants.
- Seek to broaden community involvement in the educational process.
