Evenings of Cultural Arts

550 East Remington Drive
408-730-7725

Sunnyvale Theatre's Evenings of Cultural Arts Series is celebrating its 25th season bringing outstanding multicultural entertainment to our diverse community.

Over the past two decades, the Evenings of Cultural Arts concert series has presented artists representing dozens of cultures from Asia, Africa, Europe and South America, as well as distinct regions within the United States. In addition to World Music, the Series also includes folk and popular music from different historical periods and occasionally film, storytelling and solo theater pieces.

Artists who are chosen for the series are not only top-notch performers in their respective genres, but also personable entertainers who delight in introducing the audience to traditional instruments and costumes and providing cultural and historical context for their work.

The season runs September through May, usually with one Saturday night performance per month. Performances begin at 8 p.m. and the house opens for general seating at 7:30 p.m.

Performances generally run about two hours and include a short intermission, with beverages and snacks available for sale at the Concession Stand. Following the performances, artists mingle with audience members in the lobby, giving fans an opportunity to ask questions.
