About Us:

The Farm of Peace is a 150-acre farm in the gently rolling hills of south-central Pennsylvania, only two hours’ drive from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.

We are a working farm, a retreat and healing center, and a spiritual community.  The Farm of Peace offers Sufi spiritual retreats and personal growth workshops throughout the year.

The Farm is a beautiful place to be in any season. We’re surrounded with lush woodlands, and the site offers stunning vistas of the rolling hills and nearby Allegheny foothills.

We have a small flock of sheep grazing in two fenced pastures, a small fruit orchard, a flock of laying hens, and sometimes we have pastured broiler chickens.

Our CSA garden is growing every year and provides fresh vegetables to members from spring through fall.  There is always something new growing!

The Farm of Peace CSA offers delivery of an abundance of fresh, locally grown produce to Frederick, Silver Spring, and Takoma Park,MD; NW DC; and Falls Church, VA. We also offer shares at the Berkeley Springs Farmers Market.

In addition to our CSA program, we have halal lamb, seasonally, from our flock of pasture raised tunis sheep. As the farm is ever blossoming, we hope to expand our flock of laying hens,raise broiler chickens and witness our bee hives expand and share in more of the sweetness they have begun to gift us with.

We strive to leave the land healthy and nourished, so it is reflected in the nourishment it provides us. No chemicals or pesticides are ever used in our gardens.

We hope to share with you the gifts of the land and connect you with produce close to home, as we work together to create a sustainable and healing envirnoment for all.
