Mission:

The mission of the Farmington Cultural Arts Council is to develop, cultivate, promote and create a supportive, learning and nurturing environment where children, youth and adults can enjoy meaningful opportunities for learning, artistic appreciation and participation.

Purpose:

The Cultural Arts Council is created for the purpose of assisting Farmington City administrative staff in reviewing policy issues, guiding program development and mobilizing support for cultural arts programs.  A diverse and rich mix board member's perspectives will allow the Farmington Cultural Arts Council to create an atmosphere where the successful key is inclusive rather than exclusive and the present as well as future needs of Farmington's residents are met.
