Mission Statement

Create an on-going event in support of natural fiber businesses in Alaska for the fiber artists, fiber producers and the general community. Education is our primary focus on all levels, while we promote economic opportunities for those involved.

Goals

Provide a format that will  educate the community, the fiber artist and fiber producer as relates to Alaska natural fibers from "Agriculture to Art".

Objective 1. Create an ongoing event that provides educational opportunities for the fiber producers, fiber artists, and the larger community as relates to all facets of natural fibers.

Objective 2. Create an on-going event that promotes economic  opportunities  for fiber producers and fiber artists .  

Objective 3.  Create a 501c3 status for the Fireweed Fiber Guild to allow the Guild to administer the Fiber Arts Festival effectively.
