The Friends of Fitchburg Riverfront Park is a group of volunteers committed to providing lively, entertaining events for all ages at Riverfront Park. Its purpose is to bring all types of people together to enjoy an atmosphere of community pride and to create a place where residents, friends, visitors, employees and the community as a whole meet to celebrate various seasons and events in a superb outdoor setting beside the Nashua River. We are dedicated to keeping the Downtown vibrant and thriving to enhance the quality of life for everyone. Events planned by the Friends of Fitchburg Riverfront Park are focused on the community by involving Fitchburg businesses, nonprofit and service organizations, schools, and local government. Events are family-oriented and open to the public. All proceeds are used to maintain and program the park.
