About us

The Fullerton Railway Plaza Association (FRPA) is dedicated to the preservation of the railroad heritage of Southern California through the creation of a large Interactive Railroad Attraction in the City of Fullerton, California. This facility will be unique in that it will embody many facets of the world of Recreational Railroading, including preservation, restoration, archiving, education, railfanning, modeling and many other interesting rail oriented activities.

Our Vision

Creation of a large community supported Interactive Railroad Attraction which would include a Santa Fe Heritage Railroad Museum (named the Southern California Railroad Experience) and restoration facility that would bring together business, government, nonprofit organizations and community volunteers in order to preserve our national rail heritage, enhance the city of Fullerton and provide an educational experience for our youth that is meaningful, interesting and fulfilling. It will host special programs, events, rail tours, exhibitions and interactive displays. The plaza will create a new family oriented attraction in historic downtown Fullerton.
