Genesis is a family-based educational program designed to assist parents in becoming involved in the education of their children beginning at birth. The program focuses on the parenting skills needed for the positive development of attitudes, values, behavior, social and cognitive skills, and the self identity of the child from infancy to age five.

Genesis opened in June 1993 and is a partnership between the Glassboro Board of Education, the Glassboro Housing Authority, and the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
