"To Know Him and To Make Him Known"

This has been the mission statement of Grace Baptist Church since it's inception in July of 1976. The church began with only a handful of members meeting in the old Recreation Building in downtown Childersburg until it was finally condemned a few years later. Currently our facility fills the need for our 400+ membership. After 28 years of ministry at Grace the commitment of "knowing Him and making Him known" is as strong as ever!

Our pastor, Frank Thompson, seeks to provide a biblical exposition of the scriptures each Sunday with a relevant life application to encourage the Lord's people in their walk with Him. The clear, concise, alliterated outlines accompany each sermon and are designed to help all ages gain a better understanding of the Word of God and to find their purpose in Him.

The commitment to "making Him known" extends throughout each ministry. Grace offers services for every age.  We invite you to join us!
