I signed my name in the children's library book and in return received my first library card--in 1960! My lifelong love of reading and the NYPL began in this wonderful library.

Excellent staff and prompt service. I just wish they curbed the sleeping drug attacks from time to time. They personally do not bother me but there's alway young children there and my main concern is them.
