The GSVBISG was organized in 2003 as a result of survivors and caregivers needing support and appropriate services.  The first support group meeting was held September, 2003.  We offer support to survivors of acquired and traumatic brain injuries and their families.  We are actively involved in improving services to the Shenandoah Valley region, while promoting prevention and awareness. 

Our meetings are open to the public.  We welcome anyone who needs or wants to know more about this "hidden disability."  We invite you to join us in this very important mission.

We are creating partnerships for support and assistance to rebuild lives.  We provide presentations and activities through our support group.
