About Us:

The Greeley Junior Shooting Club is a youth club with an extreme focus on the safe operation of precision firearms. The Club trains juniors in Olympic and NRA style shooting of both Rifle (Smallbore and Air) and Pistol (Air). The program focuses on the value of always doing your best no matter what level of skill you have. The Greeley Junior Shooting club believes that safe and friendly competition is healthy and helps build Self-Confidence, Discipline and encourages kids to always do their very best.

We encourage every member to compete with honor and integrity to the best of their ability in everything they do. Unlike most sports, Shooting is an individual sport and no matter what level of experience a shooter can compete and perform well. No matter what level, most of the competition a shooter experiences comes from within. We do not encourage shooters to beat each other but rather compete against themselves, and always strive to improve their performance. No matter how many people are in a match, it is important that the competitors understand that the only person they should compete against is themselves. With this approach a child will learn that hardest thing to over come is limitation we put on ourselves. Once they lean that, they are able to excel in anything they attempt.
