Since 1946 the Houston Golf Association (HGA) has diligently worked to bring high profile professional and amateur golf events to the Greater Houston Area. In addition to the Shell Houston Open PGA TOUR event (at Redstone Golf Club's Tournament Course), the HGA will bring the Nationwide TOUR Championship to Houston (at The Houstonian Golf & Country Club) in 2006.
