Hunterdon Harmonizers

P.O. Box 2175

We are a men's a cappella chorus of 60 + singers that meets every Tuesday night at the Flemington United Methodist Church, in the heart of Hunterdon County. YOU can learn from US! By joining us on a Tuesday night you will learn proper breathing techniques, music theory, vocal production and the necessary elements for close harmony and overtone production. And you'll have FUN doing it! Meet with us at 7:30 and you'll see what it's all about.

Our choir, the Hunterdon Harmonizers, performs a great variety of songs arranged in the barbershop style including doo wop classics like "Happy Together" and "All I Have To Do Is Dream", Broadway hits such as "The Impossible Dream", "Cabaret" and "Singin' in the Rain", patriotic standards like, "God Bless the USA", "The Star Spangled Banner" and "America the Beautiful", spirituals including "You Raise Me Up", "I'll Fly Away" and "When I Lift Up My Head" and several barbershop standards. Our chorus is diverse with skilled musicians and guys who only sang in the shower before they stopped by to see us, singers in their eighties to their teens, guys of varied ethnic and economic backgrounds. We share one thing in common, WE ALL LOVE TO SING! Some guys even drive over an hour to be there!

You can learn more about us at www.njharmonizers.org where you can sample our sounds on our CD page, get more information on where we meet on the "Join Us" page and see some photos of us in action. If you'd like more information, or to let us know that you would like to come by, please contact Christian at [email protected] or (908) 806-7122. Hope to meet you soon!

We'd love to meet you and create some wonderful music together!
