Inland Valley Wildcats Track Club "Developing winning scholastic athletes for the next level and in life." The Wildcats Track Club ended their 2012 season with a trip to Houston , Texas where the AAU JO National Championships were held. We had twelve youth athletes that qualified to attend the Nationals this past season. What an amazing accomplishment for these youth! We look forward to another winning season in 2013 and hope you choose to be a part of it. Inland Valley Wildcats Track Club is a SCA/USATF and AAU sanctioned track & field club for participants in youth divisions 6-14 years of age. (High School age youth can run with our club, if they are not part of a High School track team). We welcome youth from the following communities: Canyon Lake , Lake Elsinore, Hemet , Menifee, Murrieta, San Jacinto, Wildomar, & Winchester . Inland Valley Wildcats Track Club was established in 2009 to enhance athletic attributes and speed. In every youth sport played today, speed is an asset and every great coach knows "Speed Kills." It enhances team execution and prepares youth with an edge for the next level in sports. IVWTC's objectives are to give every youth an opportunity to participate and develop skills and discipline, which are essential to learning and improving in youth track & field (as well in all sports), motivate athletes to improve their academic achievements, develop good sportsmanship, develop competitiveness by establishing well organized programs and competition, developing strong bodies & minds, self discipline, self esteem, and high moral standards. Conditioning with proper form, technique, stretching, core work, poly metrics, explosion & speed work, muscle memory, body discipline, and control are essential training. All athletes will receive a valid USATF and AAU membership card, which the club will obtain for the athlete. We will require that two copies of the athlete's Birth Certificate, Club Application, Sports Waiver, and Athlete/ Parent agreement be turned in no later than Friday, February 1, 2013. Club fees are $250 per child. Deposit of $150.00 is required at the time of registration and a payment plan may be arranged for the remaining balance, which must be paid in full by Feb 1, 2013. The club will have a fundraiser to raise another $100 per athlete. Our fees cover USATF and AAU club fees, the uniform (sweat suit, singlet, performance Tee and backpack (which the athlete keeps)), SCA/USATF meet registration fees (does not include all comers meets) & Awards Banquet. We charge a very low price for participating and fundraising will be necessary. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER February 28, 2013. It is appreciated that athletes be prompt and ready to start practice, Friday February 1, 2013 at 4:15 pm sharp, at Wheatfield Park (next to Bell Mountain Middle School ). Practice will be held at this location every Mon-Thursday for the first part of our practice sessions. Athletes will practice at different locations throughout the season and notice will be given to the parents during the parent meeting on February 1st. I.V. Wildcats Travel to the San Diego & Los Angeles area for Track meets It will be mandatory that parents participate in helping out at the I.V Wildcats TC track meet (list will be distributed) and help keep our practice facility clean. Wildcats Track Club will only be accepting 120 athletes for the 2013 season on a first come, first serve basis. When all spots are filled, athletes will be placed on a waiting list.
