Our Middle School serves students in grades 6 through 8, which has approximately 320 to 340 students. Our Middle School offers challenging academic programs and our teachers are trained in using highly effective, researched based teaching strategies. Our eighth grade students were 73 percent proficient or advanced in math and reading on the 2005 Pennsylvania State Assessment Tests. We also offer academic support programs to all of our students. In the way of technology, the Middle School offers five stationary computer labs and one mobile lab . Also, each teacher has at least one or two computers in his/her classrooms. Jeannette McKee Middle School offers five sports programs to our students in grades 7 and 8. Our fall sports include football and girls basketball. In the winter we offer boys basketball and wrestling. In the spring we offer boys and girls track and field. We also offer a variety of activities for students to participate in each day throughout the school year such as band, chorus, art clubs, and other various activities. Jeannette McKee Middle School also supports and houses an after school program that runs four days a week throughout the school year.
