Mission Statement:

The Killingworth Lions is a service organization dedicated to addressing the needs of the community, encouraging behavior and supporting programs that strive to improve the quality of life in Killingworth and our extended community. We embrace the motto of the Lions International® as our own: "We Serve."

Our 2005-2006 year ahead is a special year for the Killingworth Lions. It will mark our 35th Anniversary and 35 years of service to Killingworth and our extended communities.

The club was chartered with 38 members on January 23, 1971. We were sponsored by the Middletown Lions Club. At present, we have 53 members who represent a varied cross-section of Killingworth. To this day, five charter members remain active in the club.
