King Of Kings Community Church
Mission Statement:
We are a contemporary, Bible believing church with a vision and passion to reach Southern Ocean County and beyond with the Good News of Jesus Christ, providing opportunities for spiritual growth, healing and caring relationships, dedicated to reaching others through the establishment of new churches in southern New Jersey and beyond.
History:
King of Kings Community Church began as a vision of the Metropolitan District Christian and Missionary Alliance leadership. The Alliance recognized that Southern Ocean County was a rapidly growing area in need of a strong evangelical witness.
The church began to grow and moved to the Super Fresh Shopping Center. The church had some difficult times in those first few years. Pastor Spaschak moved on and Pat Sharkey was called to continue as Pastor on May 15, 1994. At that time, the church had to basically start over.
Today we are working on our latest church planting effort which is targeting the Upper Freehold Township, Allentown, Hightstown, and Plumsted Twp areas. The church will also be called "King Of Kings Community Church".
