PURPOSE OF KIWANIS

The Kiwanis Club of Brea is composed of men and woman who want to return something back into the community.

We are composed of professionals, clergy, educators, business and community leaders who wish to make Brea a better community to live in.

We are involved in supporting youth leadership programs such as Key Clubs at Brea-Olinda High Schools; Boy and Girl Scout troops.  We also have an association with the Circle K Club at Cal-State-Fullerton. 

ABOUT

At the 60th Anniversary and Installation dinner on September 29, Dr. Tom Green, Past President and Kiwanian-of-The-Year spoke about the club's rich history and how we developed over the years.

This is our 60 year anniversary.  We were sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of La Habra Club and chartered in 1951 with 25 members.  At this time, Kiwanis was membership was restricted to just men.
