Lake Granbury Art Association

224 North Travis
817-258-9248

Organized in May of 1972, the Lake Granbury Art Association's mission is to promote the appreciation, enjoyment and distribution of art. We are located at the historic Shanley House Center for the Arts in Granbury, Texas.

Demonstrations from local artists along with the Artist of the Month award are highlights of the monthly meetings held every second Monday of each month. Winners and runners-up of the Artist of the Month will have their winning work displayed in local banks.

Workshops are available in a wide variety of mediums including: Oils, Pastels, Acrylics, Watercolor, Drawing, Stained Glass, Sculpture, Wood Carving and more.

We have 3 major shows a year, Spring (members only), Photography (open) and Fall (open juried), with cash awards for the winners. A youth exhibition is held in the spring in conjunction with the Langdon Center. Summer art classes and workshops for children are also sponsored by the LGAA.

We invite you to become a part of our association.
