Since 1851 the YMCA has been a pioneering force in the United States, a force so powerful that, as we begin the 21st century, it is arguably the most successful institution this country has ever seen.

The Maui Family YMCA, since 1960 has been governed by a local board of directors and managed by professional staff. For 156 years in the US and for 46 years on Maui, the YMCA has been building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
