Morris County is located in the center of northern New Jersey, approximately 30 miles outside of New York City. We are home to numerous businesses and about 450,000 people.

Whether you live in Morris County or come to the county to work or shop, our site is here to provide you with pertinent transportation information and to help you with your transportation needs. Various transportation alternatives are available within the county, including rail, bus, paratransit, park-and-rides, bicycle and pedestrian travel, and ridesharing. Presently, the county is well served by public transportation. Three NJ TRANSIT commuter rails lines run through the county making stops at the county's 18 stations. Numerous bus lines provide services to a majority of the county. Almost all of these bus routes run either towards Newark or New York City. Morris County Metro (MCM) is the county operated bus lines that connect communities within the county and provide connections with NJ TRANSIT busses and rail lines.
