Mt. Zion Lutheran School
Mt. Zion Lutheran School is a global community where children of all faiths are welcome to learn and grow in a happy, loving and fun environment.
In each of the past several years, Mt Zion had achieved a school average of 94% on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (one of the nation's oldest and best achievement tests). The school's principle was awarded 'Principle of the Year of all Lutheran Schools' in 2005.
Mt Zion is a learning center for the HOPE C0-Op Online Academy, a tuition-free virtual public charter school. The 60 to 90 minutes daily core classes of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science are taught using Hope Co-Op’s non-sectarian curriculum.
