Murieta Posse is a SASS-affiliated cowboy action shooting club. Matches are scored by total time, rather than rank points. They also provide an Open category that allows a shooter to use a different SASS shooting category on different stages. You may shoot Traditional on Stage 1, Gunfighter on Stage 2 and some other category on any of the other stages. If you want to shoot a stage or two as a Gunfighter or Duelist but not commit to that style for the entire match, sign up under the Open category.

Matches are usually 6 stages. Shooters should bring 100 rifle, 100 pistol and 50 shotgun rounds to be prepared for reshoots.
