Missions Statement
New City Gospel exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love and serve Him with their whole heart, mind and strength.We, as a church and as disciples of Jesus Christ, are called to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord. Thus, one of our greatest concerns, both individually and corporately, should be to communicate the gospel so that men and women might come to faith in Christ and be discipled in the knowledge of His Word.Missions is defined as any endeavor which extends beyond the local congregation, its facilities and its sphere of influence, that involves the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel in a cross-cultural setting with the goal of producing disciples and establishing churches.
Our Vision
To significantly impact the spiritual and social atmosphere of Rockland County by growing and cultivating a Christ-centered, multi-cultural community characterized by love, acceptance, forgiveness and encouragement.By providing transformational Christ-centered worship and instruction weekly for 1% of our county's population (presently 300,000) By providing educational, recreational and rehabilitation ministries that will disciple children and adults in the Word and ways of Christ.
Who We Are
We are a nondenominational body of believers coming from various ethnic and religious backgrounds, now representing over 70 different nationalities, who realize that our unity is not primarily in "doctrine" but rather in the Person of Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit who has given us a vital and living relationship with Him.We are called to be followers, not of any man or organization but of the Lord Jesus Christ. His Spirit, speaking through God-ordained ministries, equips us to minister ...to share the good news of forgiveness through Jesus with the world and to build up one another by fulfilling Christ's command to love one another.If you are seeking spirtual help or guidance, or if we can serve you or minister to needs in your life or in your home, we would encourage you to visit us and get acquainted with our people and the many activities of our Fellowship.
