The purpose of the New Hartford Historical Society is to bring together people interested in history, especially that of the New Hartford area; to discover and collect material which may help to establish and illustrate the history of the area to provide for the preservation of such material and for its accessibility to the public, especially students and to cooperate with other related historical organizations.
