Mission:

The New Hope Baptist Church exists to be God's agent of reconciliation. We do this by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, healing the broken hearted and setting the captives free (Luke 4:18). This is obtained through our Worship and Outreach ministries.

We welcome all who have the zeal to serve the Lord, Jesus. We make efforts to encourage corporate worship, as well as spiritual fellowship. We try to nurture believers in the faith with a loving environment. We seek to promote our fellowship by encouraging in each member a deep personal faith, by providing a broad Christian educational program for all ages and offering a spiritual Music Ministry.

We believe that Jesus' ministry set the example for the mission of the church. In Luke 4:18-21, Jesus himself reads Isaiah 61:1-5 which says, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor... to comfort all who mourn and to provide for those who grieve in Zion...". Jesus used His authoritative call to minister to the lost. When He left us glorious ascension, He left this charge to the church. It is a message of deliverance from bondage, consolation for sorrow and power from God for a new life of holiness.

The almighty God in this same spirit is leading us to minister to the whole person through a five-fold vision. The five parts of this vision are spiritual, educational, social, economics, and political. As a congregation we strive to be warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism.
