Mission

The mission of the Baraboo School District is to prepare our students to become life-long learners and responsible contributors to their communities.

About:

North Freedom Elementary School was built in 1991 on twelve donated acres in a truly picturesque country setting near North Freedom, Wisconsin.  Even though the school is a very modern facility in a beautiful area, it is the staff that makes North Freedom Elementary School a great place for children.  This K-5 school has an enrollment of approximately 130 students with seven classroom teachers, nine shared staff, and nine support staff who provide services for our diverse group of learners.  Our shared staff includes a reading specialist, psychologist, speech and language therapist, art teacher, music instructor, physical education teacher, guidance counselor, occupational therapist, and school nurse.  North Freedom Elementary School houses an impressive computer lab and a large media area where parents are welcome to volunteer.
