As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to be an authentic Christian community where lost people are found and hurting people are helped.

We acknowledge that we are all imperfect and in need of God’s grace and forgiveness. Our desire is to be an accepting and caring faith community, where all people are welcome and where no questions are “out-of-bounds.”

History:

Northwest Covenant Church was started in 1955. The new church was convinced then, as we are today, that God truly wanted lost people found and hurting people helped. For more than 60 years Northwest Covenant Church has been a faith community where many people have been introduced to Jesus Christ and have grown into fully devoted disciples, serving both the church and the communities in which they live. 

Values:

Although we are like many evangelical congregations, there are four values that characterize our church and our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church, and make us unique: 

We are evangelical but not exclusive. 

We are biblical but not doctrinaire. 

We are congregational but not independent. 

We are traditional but not rigid.
