The Nova Vista Symphony, established in 1966, is composed of more than 60 volunteer musicians of wide age range and ethnic background. The orchestra’s fourfold mission is: to make live classical music attractive and accessible to individuals and families at a reasonable price; to expose youngsters to classical music and educate tomorrow’s audiences; to provide an opportunity for musicians - talented but choosing careers other than music - to perform with a top quality orchestra; and to provide a showcase for local soloists and composers.
