As part of the West Deptford School System, Oakview shall offer an educational program that is designed to perpetuate and improve our democratic way of life. While promoting academic excellence we shall develop in our students the appropriate knowledge, skills, attitudes, appreciations, understanding and character traits necessary for successful living, in our complex society. We strive to develop in our students respect for their fellow man, a disciplined approach to the varied responsibilities in life, a building of sound moral character and the ability to lead a self-sufficient life.

In order to fully accomplish the aforementioned, it is necessary to establish a working relationship between home and school. Cooperation, communication and understanding between the home and school are essential for creating and maintaining the best possible atmosphere for learning. To this end, we will always welcome parents to our school and encourage them to offer suggestions, ask questions or share concerns about their child or our school policies/procedures.
