The Oakham Center School is located just ‘up’ from town center on a grassy field property, complete with a ball field.  The updated facility features a cafetorium, media center, computer lab, outdoor play area, gymnasium and music room.

The Oakham Center School serves students in grades 2 – 6 from Oakham and nearby New Braintree, while Oakham’s kindergarteners & first graders join their New Braintree classmates at the New Braintree Grade School. This reconfiguration maximizes the academic opportunity for these students with team teaching and more balanced class sizes in both schools, providing more social opportunities for the children and strengthened curriculum to meet the individual needs of the students.
