Orlando North Community Church

Orlando North has been a conceptual dream of Pastor Rob's since his early twenties. He has always loved the local church with all his heart, but believed that she could be something more than something that fills a short time slot on Sundays. The local Church could and should be God's primary tool for unveiling His glory to the world.

In 2007 Rob and his wife Melanie, along with a small handful of courageous men and women planted Orlando North Community Church. We did so with a simple desire to be the church rather than just doing church. We wanted to illuminate Jesus Christ and fully experience Him in their worship services and daily lives. We desired to build a community where people were involved in other people's lives and were literally being the church for one another. We also had a passion to tell their friends, family, and neighbors about the good news of Jesus.

Since it's inception on January 7, 2007, Orlando North has been exactly what our hearts desired. People have come to Jesus. We've experienced relationships that are genuine and filled with life. We've watched as God has used fallible people like us for His purposes not only in our community but in our world.

Our first service was held on January 7, 2007, in a small conference room at the Embassy Suites in Altamonte Springs. We had about 25 of our committed planters in attendance plus another 25 missionaries who happened to be in town for a missions conference who came because of their friendship with us.

We now find ourselves in the Sihle Insurance builing in Altamonte Springs, FL which now currently serves as a beautiful place for us to gather and worship.

The things God has done in this church tribe are too lengthy to put on this page. We could tell of the stories of men, women, and kids who have surrendered their lives to Christ. We could tell of the countless single moms we have served. We could even tell of the homeless couple we helped get their lives back on track. Let's just say He has blown the door off our simple expectations. We're a tribe with a passionate love for Jesus and for His people.
