To Praise God and Prepare People for Eternal Life.

A Christian is a person who has been saved by the Lord Jesus from the devastating consequences of their sins – alienation and eternal separation from God. Thankfulness and praise are natural expressions of the Christian’s relationship to God because He has saved us! Each time we gather, we praise God for his Love.

At Our Shepherd, worship is both an emotional and intellectual experience which satisfies our longing to praise God with our mind and spirit and demonstrate we love him. At Our Shepherd, we seek to grow in honoring God in our lives 24-7.

Eternal Life is the Gift of God through Jesus Christ. At Our Shepherd we take seriously the expectation of Jesus that not only we grow in faith, but share our love for God with other people. For Christians it’s not good enough to prepare ourselves for eternal life; we want everyone else to be prepared too! Preparing begins by presenting to you, and the entire world, the Savior, Jesus.

Two simple emphases summarize what we do and what Jesus wants you to do: Learn and Live. God desires that everyone learn the historical accounts of Jesus and go on to grow into a deep understanding of the Bible. He also wants people to live according to His pattern for life – the Christian life. As you make the commitment to learn more about God and live according to His Word, you will be tremendously blessed, not only now, but forever!
