About Peace Lutheran Church

The mission of Peace Lutheran Church is to welcome all people into the fellowship of God's love by proclaiming the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ and to nurture our members with God's Holy Word and Sacraments.

Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, belonging to the Michigan District. Peace exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our congregation, our community, our nation, and to all the world. We are equipped to accomplish this only by God's grace, as He strengthens and preserves us in faith through His Holy Word and Sacraments. Through these gracious gifts of God, we, the members of Peace, are Brothers and Sisters in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By God's grace, we are blessed to be a blessing!

The purpose of this congregation shall be to serve its members and to spread the kingdom of God by preaching the Word of God, by the administration of the Sacraments, and by the religious instruction of youth and adults, according to the confessional standard of the Lutheran Church, and to foster Christian fellowship and charity
