Rocky River Elementary School opened in August, 1997. Built to relieve overcrowding in four other schools, Rocky River was built to accommodate 1000 students. The state of the art facility provides the latest in new age technology.

Each classroom is equipped with a telephone, television, and a minimum of two computers. In addition 28 computers are housed in the school's computer lab.

The media and technology services available at the school provide students the opportunity to use a networked computer system, the Internet, participate in in-house TV production, and use of media retrieval in the classrooms.
