Roy Cloud School Mission Statement

The mission of Roy Cloud is to help students develop academic and life skills that will enable them to become productive, healthy members of society in order to meet the challenges of the future.

Roy Cloud School Roy Cloud is a Kindergarten through Eighth grade school that has provided a comprehensive learning environment for students since 1957. Our primary focus is student learning and student achievement. In 1997, our school was named a “California Distinguished School,” and was also recognized as an “Apple Distinguished School”. Students participate in a rigorous program designed to develop strong academic skills.

Roy Cloud School became a magnet school in 1995 under the state voluntary integration program. The school theme is Communication Arts and Technology which focuses on the concept that effective communication is essential for successful participation in our diverse and rapidly changing world. Technology is seen as a key component to better communicate in tomorrow's world.
