The Rye Historical Society seeks to preserve the Town's past and appreciate it's heritage by collecting and displaying documents, photos, and artifacts at the Rye Town Museum. Through special exhibits and regular programs, the society aims to engage people in the vital aspects of Rye's history so that current issues may be better understood and future plans respect the natural and human history of the town.
