Sadsbury Township Police Department

P.O. Box 418
610-857-9536

About Our Department:

Our department has provided part-time police coverage for our residents for many years. We are now at a point when there is an increase in industry, business, and the number of residents in the township. With this increase comes a need to provide increased police services.

Goals of Sadsbury Township Police Department:

One of our goals is to increase traffic patrols on Valley Road in Pomeroy and Lincoln Highway through the Village of Sadsburyville. Hopefully we can get the motorists to respect the speed limits through areas where pedestrians have to walk on the roadways to get around town. There are also several other areas where you will see an increase in the traffic patrol details.

Another area in which we will be increasing our visibility is with the false alarm activations. False fire and burglar alarms cause a lot of misdirected police and fire response resources. The township has recently enacted an updated alarm ordinance. Letters of notification will be sent to residents and businesses for each false alarm as outlined in the Ordinance.

The officers of Sadsbury Township Police look forward to being of service to you.
